RDJ and JB had some moments, but for the most part I was tired of them by the end. Cody (the SFX guy) had some rocking hair and probably was the most believeable character. McConahey(sp) was trying to play the loyal friend, but it was too far over the top. Nick Nolte? Whatever. Tom Cruise? Please.

If you loved RDJ as Kirk Lazarus throughout the movie, checkout the cast commentary on the etras. He does Lazarus about 80% of the time, if not close to 90%. It's fantastic.

the fuck are you talking about? The blu ray I have has the directors cut (ie Unrated Version) as the actual fucking movie. It's hilarious and THE SAME FUCKING MOVIE but with maybe 15 minutes of good shit added in sporadically

Not sure about that. I don't like Ledger dead or alive. But he pwnd the Joker in TDK. I loved RDJ in TT, but Ledger does deserve it. It's to bad he couldn't see it. And I'm not some fan boy. Like I said, I don't like anything he did other than the Joker role.

look, I thought this movie was much funnier than expected (though I hated tom cruises role) and did a great job lampooning hollywood (jack black running for the drugs "don't judge meee!"). I am a big RDJ fan, but an award? seriously? no man, just no. Ledger gave a villian that will be remembered forever, downey just managed to do non offensive blackface, impressive nonetheless.

Not this year. I hope i'm wrong about this but for a vast majority of the time the GG's have been a precursor to the Oscar's. Now, that's not saying Tom Cruise will get a nomination, but at the same time, Nominations won't be thrown at TDK (again, according to the GG noms)

I loved RDJ in Tropic Thunder...the transformation was incredible and hilarious. Great quote: "Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box." However, as you can see I don't have RDJ in my avatar, I have Heath Ledger there. The energy and talent Ledger put into the Joker was phenomenal and he practically reinvented a character that has been around for a very long time. I didn't think he would be able to do that.
