Is this the Office spinoff we've been hearing about for a few months?
The ads make it look mildly funny, like it has some serious promise. Lets hope for the best.

Yeah, but I figured that the Office is a remake too, so maybe it had potential.
Scratch my hopes and dreams then.

who ever though this show would be a good idea should be shot, the orginial Australian show is just painful.
This show will not last long...

If you're not watching this, you're missing out. My TV is stuck on NBC from 8:30-10pm every Thursday night...Comedy Night Done Right!
Molly Shannon is surprisingly good in this role. I think when she's subdued she's actually pretty funny. Selma Blair is great as a Britney Spears/Paris Hilton type. And John Michael Higgins always captures douchiness with disturbing accuracy.

I catch the last 3 minutes every week, and it looks painfully awful.
Maybe it's worth a download, if it's got the nookjoo seal of approval.

This is joke thread, I'm guessing. This show is Bad News Brown. And I watched like three episodes. Molly Shannon wasn't ever funny, I think.
It's a really good lampoon of mall culture and has clever writing and excellent dialogue delivery. One drawback I can think of is the overuse of voiceover.

I see what you're saying, but the jokes fall way flat for me....Blair and her dipshit husband suck ass. Molly Shannon sucks and I've never found her amusing. Higgins is kinda funny as the sandwich shop guy, but 2 minutes of enjoyment per ep ain't keepin me coming back

I have to admit, I wasn't a big fan of the Australian version, sure there were some good moments in it, but the US version is growing on me, and not like a fungus.
The best character is Craig in my opinion.
The Australian version did a very good job at taking the piss out of a certain element of our society, and from what I saw of the US when I was there, the US version does a good job of the same thing.
Terrible programs like 'Two and a half men' reek of writer's hand. Nobody talks like ANY of the people in that program. Kath & Kim (both versions) reflect actual people...whether we all care to admit it or not.

Molly Shannon has never been funny. In the previews they tried to hide her so that people woulndt realize that she was on the show.
