Just got done watching the season finale and even though I was down on the season early on it did pick up over the last couple of episodes. Doug's scene was great, I really thought he was going to off himself. The ending was top notch, wear a rubber gentlemen.

This show out of any of the comedies on television stretches the concept of "half hour comedy" to the limit. Half the time it's depressing and the other half is the darkest humor ever produced for mass consumption.

Overall I was hoping they would bring back the original (old lady voice) theme song from season one.... "little boxes, on the hill tops.........". The new 'just logo' shit is gay, slightly better then season 3 i think it was when they had different remixes of the original song.

I've only been watching the show on DVD because I dont have premium channels so I've seen the first 3 seasons. Someone told me the show quality kind of drops off after season 3. Is it worth my buying the DVD for season 4? There's nowhere around my location where I can rent it.

Same here, that was one of the funnier moments, and when Nancy tazed the cop/fed whatever the hell he is and the one guy...I laughed for a good 5 minutes after the fact.

I don't know why everyone is down on this show. It's just more of a dark comedy this season. I think it's really interesting to watch Nancy follow the rabbit hole into the drug world. She's neck deep in the shit now and while it's not all light hearted and fun, if you're doing a show about drugs, it is the responsibility of the creators to cover all sides of it. I think that is what is happening this season. I still like it just as much as the 1st season. Some people just don't like change though.
