Went to my fathers and fired his .50cal muzzle loading rifle. Well, it's technically a muzzle loader but I think it's a new type. Today? Made a wall-sized collage with a bunch of extended studies students. And by extended studies I don't mean post-graduates, I mean, essentially, the people who aren't taking the full course load. Old folks, a few slackers, and an animatronic Asian robot and her master who calls herself C. I had no idea you could do that. One letter.

Normally the class is pretty cool, pretty slack, so it gives you a lot of room to experiment. Since I'm going in design, next year they're basically gonna have a ruler up my ass 24/7, so I need this. Frankly, another 3 years of this would be awesome, but I need to learn about what exactly entails in production, yada yada.

Anyhoo. The collage sucked. Both to see and to work on. It was organized alright enough at first, the class apparently decided to make an under-sea bar type deal. Whatever, this was choosed the week before. Could've been much cooler, but I really don't trust other people's skill level when it comes to art. And...I my lack of trust was confirmed. To an extent, everyone had their own uniquely positive mindset, but this does not equal unifying aesthetics. Plus it means everyone has their own weaknesses which they can't see, and you can't just tell them they're retarded, because you still need them to do shit you don't wanna do.

For instance, there was supposed to be this bar, and then I came up with the idea of a shark kicking out a hammerhead, but all human-bodied, in front of it. So, the bar should be level, but apparently, when you put a leg/body in the way, they completely lose track of where the line was supposed to go, and draw it entirely wrong and crooked. Plus, if there's two arms that make a sort cut off an oval from the rest, they apparently draw the wrong fucking pattern there. And then, just when you think your brain is going to jump out and run away, they paint over top of part of your drawing. By the time the asked me if they could darken parts of it, my will was weakened so much I actually said, "I guesss..." I guess I can be thankful they didn't just draw completely overtop it and some stuff was left that was still mine.

But, the funniest, best part of it all, was what the teacher said as we were leaving; I was the last one out besides him and he said something about next time we're just gonna give each person a section of the wall to work with, since our class is so small, "fuck collaboration," he says.

I had a colonoscopy yesterday morning due to some abdominal pains Im having. Today I'm not doing too much. I actually feel pretty good but nobody has to know that so I'm taking the day off school.

The doctor told me I wouldn't remember a thing. You get taken into a little room, and told to lie on your side. One drug to take care of the pain, another drug to make you forget everything ftw.

Only I recall maybe two minutes of consciousness being in excrutiating pain. When they put the air up your ass to better see up your colon. At some point I felt like I was being held still and someone was talking to me but I couldn't make out his words. That part makes me lol b/c wtf was he doing really? Otherwise I pretty much slept through it and woke up with a nurse putting a hot blanket on my stomach which was pretty sore. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Hate hospitals. And worse is that some superbug is making its way around the place. In fact if you've had any kind of flu they won't admit you for any day surgeries.

Recovery pretty much involved passing a load of gas for the next four hours. Results will be in I reckon in the week. Otherwise it was a total breeze. Right now I'm enjoying a day off and some solid food again.
