green bay packers. With Brett Favre they may have won a couple more games.

The Chargers, by far. They were supposed to come in and be one of the NFL's top teams and they flopped hard.

LT is getting old and has turf toe, Merriman went down right away, and Gates never got to 100%. I agree that the Chargers were a let down, but with the major injuries they had coming into the season and had happen early on, I think the Jaguars are by far more of a disappointment. A lot of sports writers had them picked to go to the Super Bowl. They stumbled out of the gate and have lost some games they shouldn't have (BENGALS? Not to mention they're 1-5 at home). They've looked like dog dick and I can't believe they were basically the same team that were a couple games away from the Super Bowl last year.
I picked the Jags as well.

I picked the Chargers because their expectations, AT MINIMUM, were to win the division running away. And it's not like the Broncos are even that good.
But if Frank Gore is out for this weekend, I might need to nominate my fantasy team for this award.

Wasn't that last year?

No, this year. But I take that back. Here is what he said:
Kitna did NOT guarantee or predict 10 wins
by Tom Kowalski

Detroit Lions quarterback Jon Kitna addressed the media Tuesday on the first day of Organized Team Activities and there's already some buzz about his "10 wins'' comment.
Here is precisely what Kitna said -- and it doesn't come anywhere close to a guarantee or a prediction:
"Our expectation is that we will be disappointed if we don't win 10 games because that will mean we're not in the playoffs and that sucks. I can't make it any simpler than that. Anybody who says that's not their expectation level, unfortunately, they're not very much of a competitor.''
I stand corrected. He didn't promise, he just said he expected to be disappointed if they didn't win 10. Well, he must be reeeeeaaaallly disappointed, I expect.

Weren't the Chargers supposed to go 13-3 or something?

word on the street is the chargers were super bowl bound. but shit happens
The Chargers are the sexy pick but they have Norv Turner as a head coach so is it really a shock? The Packers lost their icon so they were expected to not do as well but granted they are worse than expected. Cleveland is always a disappointment so they have no place in this list. The Jags are another sexy pick but I don't think most people thought they would go further than the second round anyway. I pick the Seahawks. They always win the terrible NFC West and makes ESPN looks like retards for continually picking the Cardinals to "finally make it". Mike Holmgren is the one of the best coaches of all time and his swan song has a 2-11 record right now with the Niners AND the Rams ahead of them. More than likely Holmgren will take a break and come back later but on the possibility he doesn't then his exit from coaching on his worst season ever.

So the majority of ESPN pundits pick the Cardinals to make it... then they do... and this makes ESPN look like retards?

This is why you are a moron...
EPSN prognosticators are considered retards becuase they have consistently picked the Cardinals to win the West for like 5 years straight now. Hell, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

But the Chargers are still a disappointment. Yeah they beat Denver and obviously Denver is a larger one, but the Chargers are going no where this year.
