I get 6-8 hours of sleep because I generally sleep 6-8 hours every night.

I have been an insomniac since 6th grade, and i went to a sleeping doctor last year and they put machine things on my head during a sleep test. I can never sleep, for example, I woke up at 3:00 PM on Thursday, didn't fall asleep until 6:30 AM this morning, and woke up at 1:00 PM today. And that's considered a DECENT sleep for me. Gawd.

Yes, Ambien 2 years ago, but the Dr. put me off of it because it didn't affect me very well. Nothing since.

i sleep very lightly, maybe 5-6 solid hours on a good night. weed then vodka and then unisom usually puts me under for a good while.

I wished I got more than 4-5 hrs a night, when I am not on call... but then I find if I sleep more than 6 hours I am shit the next day.

I work from 8pm-6am, theoretically anyway.
I generally work from 8pm to whenever i finish my work for the night, which is between 3am-6am....1am if I'm lucky.
I usually sleep from 10am'ish-3pm'ish..... but if I'm exceptionally tired I sleep till 7pm.

I sleep alot now (when my responsibilities are rather low) because I know very soon the time I am allowed to designate towards sleep is going to go down, mucho.

I try for 7 hours a night, but normally get about 6 or just less then 6.
