Are you a Notre Dame football fan?

I was watching a tv show and a caller called in to say that he was a fan of Irish football, and it wasn't Regis Philbin. The host looked like he wanted to vomit. I don't blame him.

So, are you a fan of Fighting Irish football, and if so, why do you hate yourself, and why haven't you committed suicide yet?

I actually would respect someone who honestly said "Yes, I'm a ND fan.". I hate people who drop a team because they've had a shitty streak.


Also, I'm a Michigan fan and I'm scared to death our future for the next decade will look like ND's recent past.

i used to like notre dame as a kid. one of the reasons was because i went to catholic school. but my faith went down the shitter and so did me being a fan of ND.

i will admit, it was great watching old clips of tony rice doing the option back in the 80s.

i have atleast a half dozen friends who are Notre Dame fans. A couple are alum and the rest are retarded.

I don't really follow college football much, but if Notre Dame is playing I do root for them. So yeah, I'd say I'm a fan. That said, they have been pretty embarrassing lately.
