happy holidays seems to imply the entire week of christmas and new years... and is for lazy fucking people who don't want to call the same list of family twice in a week. or it's for politically correct twats who have to be sensitive to every fucking group out there. fuck, take it for what it is: a well-meaning sentiment of happiness. cunts.

If you're worried about taking the Christ out of Christmas, maybe you should focus on paring down the association with retail stores, not what the employees say at them.

I didn't really care about this, until one time I said Happy Holidays to a guy walking past me, and he turned around and said "I think you mean Merry Christmas" and looked like he was going to punch me. Since it provokes teh response I want, I say Happy Holidays.
