All the choices are absolutely terrible.
The Grammy's need to be firebombed to cull the herd.

Lets give Lil Wayne a statue while I give myself a high five for my tenth anniversary of stealing music with no repercussions.

Half of these critics can't even stomach real music, let alone stand real artists.
I fucking hate the Jonas Brothers, but they seem like a good bet, they're fucking everywhere.

I absolutely love the idea of the world's second most ig'nant ghetto bloke, platinum grill and all, getting picked over Coldplay. After Three 6 Mafia at the Oscars, it would honestly make my day.
The options available truly make me wish to cry. Is the world really this close to the end?

Hey, I hate Lil' Wayne, but he actually seems like he's got his shit together and is fairly intelligent, if you put aside the ghetto front.

He might have grown up somewhat, but I remember the stuff he used to do with BG, Juvenile and them, and... Dude. And "Mr Make it rain on dem hoes" doesn't exactly sound like the pinnacle of class, either.
I suppose it's the whole Southern thing.

Well, he still sucks. But so does 97.32% of rap music released right now.

That's because 97.32% of rap music released right now is made exclusively for strip clubs.

I actually feel bad for Radiohead because I doubt they enjoy being mentioned in the same breath as Li'l Wayne.

I'm astonished that Fleet Foxes "White Winter Hymnal" didn't get a nod for song or record of the year. I actually looked up the nominations to see if maybe they didn't qualify (they do, and got a nod for Best Alternative Record, I think). Also, MGMT's "Electric Feel", where's that? They got a measly nod in re-mixes. I am outraged, outraged, my good sir.
Fuck, I should have bet. Plant & Krauss cleaned up.

Grammys have been laughably predictable for the last decade or so. You can bet your ass that the awards committee will go out of there way to fuck over any group/solo artist somewhere below mid-30s for anything that resembles "the good old days". I didn't even have to watch to know that Robert Plant was winning.

I didn't even know Robert Plant made a record recently.

Oct. 1. Rainbows officially came out last day of 2007, but it probably leaked much earlier, maybe even prior to October.
