I'm not a fan, but I voted Hank Jr. I know a lot of people (hicks/rednecks) that are obsessed with the guy, and only show a passing interest in his dad...which is kind of sad, but I'd say he's just about as much a country legend as Ole' Hank Sr.

I think what we can take from this list is that children suck.It's weird to look at all these, and how much some of them just fall into their parent's shoes, without trying to. I think Buckley's the only one who actually made a name for himself outside that. Dylan tried, and his success is his own, but he's still a shitty Bob Dylan. Damian and Ziggy have their own styles, but are still Bob's kids. Hank Jr. is a legend in his own right, but that's only because he's commercialized crap. I hate his guts and I don't see how his kid can't.
The weirdest of all of em is Zappa. Natalie Cole is aping her dad's music, he's only doing his dad's music, and somehow, because of it, he ends up completely different. Frank was genius inside a ridiculous barrel, Dweezil is...a cover band of his dad? It's so weird it's almost creative.
