Ok I've always been a fan of Travis Pastrana and his one stunt of jumping out of the plane without a parachute still leaves me short of breath, however I recently saw a video of Alain Robert (known as the real Spiderman) scaling a 100 story building using nothing more than hand chalk and climbing shoes. I did a little more reading about Alain and found he had climbed just about every skyscraper of note in the world, again using no equipment other than chalk and climbing shoes.
Who is the bigger daredevil? I'll add Robby Knievel as well out of respect for his dead father Evil.

If anyone knows of another person known for daredevilry of epic proportions feel free to mention them.

I would have went with Pastrana, but that Alain guy is fucking nuts. At least Pastrana had a dude with a parachute to hook onto.

True, but Pastrana also does a million different crazy things with apparently no regard for his life or fear. He will basically jump off anything, jump over anything, and drive anything over anything. I'm pretty torn on this, just watching Alains videos give me vertigo, but I have to admire Pastranas absolute creative insanity.
The one truly amazing thing about Alains climbs other than the no equipment part, is that they said that in most of his climbs there is no "rest point" where he can rest his arms in a safe position and then continue the climb. Almost all of his climbs he must remain in climbing mode and do them continuous from start to finish. That's pretty impressive in itself.

I have a bunch of friends who are climbers and they did alot of free climbing in school. One guy died doing it, fell off a building on to a van, so I know how dangerous it can be, but Travis just seems like a nut ball. Alains is atl east relying on his skill, which is amazing, Travis just seems to say, "well this look crazy, lets do it"

You've forgotten Philippe Petit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippe_Petit), the dude that wirewalked between the twin towers (http://www.meatspin.com). If that's not nerves of fucking steel I don't know what is.

Edit: Nuke posted links to the documentary in the FSF, well worth a watch; I believe it won an Oscar.

Anyone see Nitro Circus last night when Pastrana gave Bam Margera a ride in the trophy truck?
It looked like Bam was going pass out when they finished, you could tell Bam was scared shitless. The ride looked pretty fucking insane though.

In the US where even guard dogs are armed, I'd say that's a yes. Especially in your neck of the woods.
It's only weird if you come across old pictures where the girl is like 9 and you look the same.

Trust me, it's awesome - the guy himself is a fascinating character and the story itself, wow.
