Did you ever have a swing set? I had one, but the set I enjoyed more than any other I ever encountered was at a church I went to as a kid. It had a sturdy construction and long chains with plenty of slack in them, which meant that if you were strong enough to do it you conceivably could get around 15 feet into the air no sweat. I never got that high, both because I was a “husky” youth and because one time when I did get fairly up there I fell out of the seat and landed quite awkwardly…And it was then that I realized God never intended for me to fly on my own. I still don’t remember much before my seventh birthday, but I always did like to swing.
In honor of my friend the swing set, I give you – PENDULUM!
