Then a week later another mention of getting the same email. Finally on a Friday you make an announcement about getting legal papers in the mail referring to the FSF and a lot of property issues.

Then hit the site quick. Remove FSF, Babe Forum, Vbookie, Casino, Arcade well pretty much everything. Remove Rep, GMF$, Post counts and such. Make an annoucement on the front page about it. Something about GMF being taken over and is now being deeply investigated.

Use the System Admin character to put an announcement on the page. Put up the new rules. Add the Filter and remove the avatars.

To really sell it Ban some of the people who are in on the joke. Hell 'Ban' all of the admins. Find a normal member and get them in on the joke. Let them pull the 'Its the End' type of stuff. Give them all access to the System Admin character or some type of alt to see how its progressing.

People panic and leave? Well isn't that the point? To get people worried or wondering? Hell you could even thin out the ranks a bit.

It was good, I only experienced some of it b/c I was snowed in. I'd say meh, not I don't care, just it didn't really affect me that much. There were a few movies and TV shows that I was looking forward to downloading a few things since I was home,but I wasn't the end of the world.

I was was good that with the number of people in on it, no one slipped up. Well as far as I know. If the prank affected more people other than just the language filter, it may have been a bit better.
