Granted, and he probably wouldn't have known that would happen, but somehow I still can't see him going to all the trouble of getting pissed off, not at anyone in particular just in general, if it were just a hoax.

But here was something he said during the whole debacle:
neither have I, the admins have been nothing but helpful with regards to the bullshit a few months ago, and continue to be supportive.
He had to have known that it would get back to Syn sooner or later, plus the admins all have the ability to check IPs and email addresses. Why would he have taken it that far if it were a hoax?
