PS3 won't connect to Internet

My PS3 has been set up to get online since I got it Xmas of '07. Tonight I planned on getting on and playing a game. But it will not connect. My 360, laptop, Wii and Cable all work. So what did I do wrong?

Did I miss something?

Only thing that happened this week was Saturday my internet wouldn't work. So I fixed it by unplugging and resetting it. But I never touched then PS3.

I'm not incredibly tech savvy but I'll offer some obvious advice that you've probably already tried.

Rest the PS3?
Is your router configured to dynamically assign an IP address to new devices?
Are you wired or wireless? (I dunno how this'll matter, but you never know if it could be a bad wire.)

That's all I got. I don't know if it's anything to do with your router considering all the other devices work.. Pretty strange though.

Yup reset the PS3 and Router a few times.

I have no idea. I don't think so since everything else works fine.

Wired. Tried a few different wires that do connect on my 360.

It could be a problem with the wireless adapter inside the Ps3, if a lan line doesn't work I would say call sony.

I had to put in an IP address manually. And it seemed to have worked last night. I'll give it a look again when I get a chance later.

solution: get a wii

check to see if ur internet browser is working when connected. if u cant sign in u just might be banned.
