To me the NBA has a major problem and would be better served putting WWE refs on the payroll, but maybe that's just me.

NBA without question. anyone who watched the Bobcats-Celtics game could tel lthat..(107 shots taken yeilded only 6 free throw attempts)

when you have the Dick Bavettas and Violet Palmers of the world, then it's the NBA by a mile. I still haven't got over the Game 2 NBA Finals Bavetta ref'ed ... giving Boston a shit load of FT attempts (30+) over the Lakers mere 5 or so FT attempts.

There's probably no sport where stars are judged as differently as in the NBA.

I have never seen refs as inconsistent as the NHL.
