I've got Pandora and I like it. HOWEVER, when I first started using it, I didn't. Once I started interacting with it and requesting songs, giving thumbs up and down, it got a lot better. I'm not sure how Last.fm and slacker work, but if you just want to choose a station and listen without interacting, pandora isn't for you

Last.FM is a social networking site under the guise of an internet radio station. The music you listen to is determined by the music your "peers" listen to. Pandora, at least back when I could use it, is almost like actually having your own radio station, without any of the politics that might go with it. The music you listen to is determined by the music you want to listen to. It's like Wikipedia vs. Britannica, Wikipedia might have a larger reach, but Britannica knows what the fuck it's doing.

Pandora's better. After using it for about a month or two, and using Last.FM for two years, yeah, Last.FM doesn't come close to a real comparison.

If we're talking about best internet radio, I'd say Pandora by miles and miles. But for some weird reason I fucking love having charts of the music I listen to, so I use Last.FM on a daily basis.
