I walked a half mile home last night. My friends and I pretended every street sign was a basketball hoop. It was fun.

How bad must your town suck if you don't have at least one decent watering hole within two blocks of where you live?

I gave up drinking. But there is a really great tavern about a mile away from here that I would walk to if I had to.

Oh who am I kidding, I can't walk that far.

I'd walk a mile. But by the time I was done I'd be crawling the way back.

I walked between a half mile and a mile throughout college. Now, I've got no bars in walking distance. My favorite bars are now a good 8-15 mile drive away

I read this wrong. As for how far I would walk, maybe a couple blocks anything more then that a cab or a bus is taken.

I miss Milan. living in the Brera neighbourhood, I had around 150 bars within that half mile.

Too many hoodlums where i live. I'd walked a mile from getting shot at in the bars around here.

My favorite bars are either in another part of town or at a friend's house.

I have a few bars within reasonable walking distance from me. My favorite spots are a good 7-10 miles away though.

my favorite bar in seattle is exactly 1.1 miles from my appt.

it really doesn't bother me a bit to walk there.

it's quicker than driving too. if you drive you have to sit at lights and find parking. it's a hassle.

I'm convinced that more than half of cab revenue comes from the female population.

I've never "walked" to a bar or a club.

Well, you're also more than half the population...

There are only two bars within 1 mile of me, and I've walked to them/back a few times...but I really don't like them.

My favorite bar is like 7 miles away.

Now, when I was at OSU, I never drove to the bars. They were all...right there.

This may explain my fattness now.

2 miles isn't even that far, but I guess it kind of depends on where you are. Walking 2 miles in a another major city is WAYYYYY different than walking in a suburb/rural area.
