I just realized this would probably make a better poll than anything else. Maybe a mod wants to delete my other post (http://forum.gorillamask.net/showpost.php?p=516877&postcount=62) on this?

Do you guys think that the AL will dominate interleague again? I think the AL as a whole is still well above the NL if they played each other over the course of a long season (short series wins mean nothing) and I was surprised to find people disagreeing. I just look at some of these NL teams and see a whole lot of dead wood on them. I think people don't realize the discrepency between leagues and are comparing the #'s of NL players competing against each other and it's somewhat misleading. I try and look at the players on each team and look at how deep some of these lineups are and I just don't see the NL being as good. There's a reason why only NL teams were willing to take a chance on Sheffield despite the DH being in the other league.

American League vs National League. Which do you think is better?

I'd say NL. I enjoy that style of play more and if you take the best player at each position in each league I'd be willing to bet the NL side would be better.

Off the top of my head the NL wins 1B (Pujols), 2B now (Utley), SS (Hanley), and LF (Manny/Braun) while the AL wins C (Mauer), probably CF (Sizemore? Upton?), and RF (Markakis) while 3B is up for grabs (ARod now still probably, but Longoria/Wright is an AL/NL fight for the future).

NL

C McCann
1B Pujols
2B Utley
3B Wright
SS Ramirez
LF Braun
CF Kemp/Beltran
RF Hawpe

SP Lincecum
SP Santana
SP Haren

Cl Rodriguez

AL:

C Mauer
1B Teixeira
2B Pedoria
3B Longoria
SS Jeter
LF Crawford
CF Sizemore
RF Markakis

SP Greinke
SP Halladay
SP Hernandez

Cl Nathan

I think this would be the overall. I took out A-Rod just because of the steroid stuff and he hasn't been doing much yet.

What NL team wouldn't be 4th in the AL East?
