I'll try anything (and have tried a great deal), but trout fishing in small streams is my favorite.

Same. Have all of the fly gear, but have never put in the time to learn. If I have time for fishing-related activities, I just go fishing.

Panther Martin spinning fly (silver or rainbow pattern) is my all-time favorite lure.

I got bay fishing and deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico from time to time.

Bay fishing in the Laguna Madre is immense fun.

Wow, you gotta come catch some real trout out here in Idaho. I'll have to upload some pics.

This pool had atleast 2 dozen good sized fish. I worked it for about an hour and a half, tried everything short of a casting net or dynamite (including just trying to snag a fish with a hook) and they didn't even look at the bait.

Heaed out again tomorrow. This time to the Davidson River in NC. Only problem is that the river that is next to where we are camping is fly fishing only. That will take some practice.
