I'm an American. That l use to live in the DEEP SOUTH (from the state whose motto is, "EVERYBODY'S RELATIVE".)

Okay. I have a very macabre sense of humor. I believe that some UFOs come from an extraterrestial origin. I own 2 Corvettes (1976 and 1995). I use to play guitar in a garage band many years ago. I have 3 Guitars, a Bass Guitar, a Yamaha Keyboard, a Baldwin Piano and by God, I worship the ground Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth walks on.
You want more? Okay, I'm a geek. I was a geek before being a geek was cool. I like Star Trek. I can't understand why Shatner didn't win an Oscar for his performance as James T. Kirk (or why Samuli Torssonen hasn't been catapulted into international stardom as Captain James B. Pirk - a shoutout to the Star Wreck crowd!) I was running dial-up BBS'es before most of the users of this message board were drunken glazes in their father's eyes.
I can add more if this intro doesn't make the grade with the Vets of this board.
Oh yes, I almost forgot. My real name has Hondo in it. I was named for the character that John Wayne played in a movie (Thank God my perents didn't name me John Wayne, otherwiase I would have been tempted to follow in John Wayne Gacy's footprints.)
I love John Wayne movies. I guess that would make me some type of facist American bastard in some people's eyes. If that's the case, can you imagine the disgust that John Wayne would have for me if he knew I not only love Star Trek (with all that socialist crap, as my dearly departed father use to say as he would turn the channel to good old American football or some sort of Fishing Program), but also attend sci-fi conventions (Dragoncon Rules!)?
