Is that like one of the best movies or what? I can look at the movie now and see how dated the technology is, but the story itself is still very much current.

Here is my favorite quote from the movie: "General Beringer: Goddammit, I'd piss on a spark plug if I thought it'd do any good!"

Seriously though this is a great movie. I never knew it got nominated for the best screenwriting oscar.

I remember watching this on the big screen...then less than a year later, ABC put on "The Day After". They stopped having commercials after the part where the country got nuked. Both the Day After and Wargames are available on youtube.

I found out that the guy that played the General was not originally in the script, but after meeting him, they decided to add him in, which was cool, because he was part of what made the movie so great.
