I cannot sit and watch a baseball game on tv. I will switch to the Jays game during commercials during the hockey game but thats about it. I can only go to a baseball game if I am getting drunk, if not I will be bored.

I do love the Winged Wheelers too but if given a choice of only watching one ever, baseball hands down.

I enjoy watching baseball, sometimes more so then hockey, but if you compare playing the two then hockey wins hands down.

I love watching Hockey but when it comes to actually playing one, I would choose baseball. Anytime I need to get away from the world for just a few minutes I grab someone and go throw a game, meaning I just pitch 9 innings (4-5 right now with my semi-bum shoulder). I always found pitching to be the perfect example of when the mind and body have to work as one accomplish a single task. Much less 70-120 times.
but that's just me.

I can't watch a full baseball game without falling asleep. It's like golf, fucking boring to watch but way more fun to play.

A Full Contact Sport where earning the 16-wins to claim the biggest Trophy in the world is harder than playing the 82 games to get there, versus a ball, a stick, and the extent of physical contact is a play at the plate.... hard decision...

If I want to watch fighting, I'll watch boxing or UFC. If I want to watch contact sports, I'll watch football. If I want to watch soccer, I'll watch soccer. Hockey is a messy mish-mash of the three.

Any pretty much anyone can play baseball. At least with hockey you have to have a skill (skating) to even consider playing.

And suggesting that anyone can play baseball/there's no skill involved suggests YOU should try watching a game.

I have to disagree there, it takes some kinda balls to go from zero to sixty in 5 seconds. Or pitch 90mi/h. Or hit a home run let alone past the infield.

To play anything well it takes skill. But you can put any kid on a field with a bat and they can hit a ball, but not everyone can skate.
I do watch part of games (can't watch 9 innings, just to boring., and do go to Jay's games now and again.

0-60 in 5 seconds? What does that have to do with baseball?
Like I said, to play any sport at a high level takes skill, but I feel after playing both that hockey takes far more skill to play and to play well.
