He'll live. He should have thought of it first. Personally I think he should be in for sure. He was a fucking beast there for a while, but some people say since he doesn't have 300 wins he is the suxxors.
Nappy hair and that midget. Keep him out.

If he's not in, nappy hair and all, then you have to take that Jew Koufax out.
I bet he could brew a great pot of coffee.
...Pedro is one of the 10 or 12 greatest pitchers of all time...
If only Juan Valdez would have built a raft. Imagine what this thread could be.

A lot of people think he doesn't deserve to get in even though he has more SO per inning and walked fewer people per than Nolan Ryan. A lot of people didn't think he played long enough and he doesn't have the magic "300 wins".
Anyone who doesn't think Pedro Martinez is a Hall of Famer is one of the stupidest people on Earth.

You shouldn't talk about your mother that way. just because she hates midget wranglers.

if the poll had a "no, because he played for the redsox" option, that's how i meant to vote.

That's pretty much the list of pitchers I would consider taking before Pedro Martinez.

What about Bob Gibson?

I'm not being serious. I have to deal with Cardnials fans all the time.
Bob Gibson's 1968 has a 254 ERA+. Pedro's 2000 far exceeds that at 291 (through fewer innings, admittedly). Pedro has 4 other peak seasons above 200, Gibson's next highest is 164.
Bob Gibson was a very good pitcher with a couple amazing peak years that came in one of the most pitcher-friendly eras in baseball history that made them look even more impressive. Relative to his league I'd probably take Gibson over Curt Schilling but not Pedro.

His 1999 season is arguably one of the best of all time. His career numbers are also better than Koufax.
