Anybody have any suggestions? Im into simulations/wargames. I spent $40 on Masters of Orion 3 and it sucked Ass-teroids. Ive played all the Age of Empires. I know the Call of Duty stuff is really big but again it just seems like a shooter. Is it just me or is everything a first person shooter nowadays? What happened to tactics and strategy? Starcraft 2 is coming out (or is out) maybe that will be cool. I wont even go into WOW...Ive heard too many stories about people getting so into it they are addicted. And I already went down that road. Used to spend 12 hours a day playing Darkness Falls before they retired it. -Sniffles-...I miss that game.

Are you looking for Real-Time Strategy games? If you like Age of Empires I think you'd like Empire Earth I and II. Also Supreme Commander's supposed to be pretty good. (I have it, but yet to get very far into it) World in Conflict was fun while I was playing it. I tend to get into a game then quickly jump into something else, so never got REALLY far into that one.
If it's more in-depth strategy, I'm hearing lots of good stuff about Empire: Total War as well. The demo only lets you try out the land/sea direct battles, which I'm not super fond of, however I hear the overall strategy part of the game is really fun. I'm sure there are others that I'm not thinking of at the moment, but there are some ideas anyhow.

One of the best space RTS games ever. For $40 you can get the game and both expansions. I wasted hours on this game.

Try Left4Dead. It is now the hottest first shooter game played by most gamers today. It's about teamwork, like the old arcade game "The house of the Dead".

Whenever you post I feel the urge to shoot you in the face. (Not to be confused with my other urge to shoot face, or shoot semen in ********** face)

Yeah, when I think of House of the Dead, I think teamwork.
I am having a complete and severe deja-vu moment

So I bought Command and Conquer the First decade. Out of like 8 games on the discs only 3 worked lol. but it was only $10. I like C @ C Genrals Zero hour.....but i hate those little GLA fuckers. Damn rocket buggies and radiation and all kinds of crap.

Empire: Total war... Learning curve is pretty steep but it's an awesome game.

The Warhammer Dawn of War 40k series is fun but I blew through that game in about 3 days with an expansion XD. You can always try the original Warcraft games too...

I've always been partial to the Command and Conquer games. After they balanced out the medium tank rushes, it' pretty fun. Plus, it's one of those games where you have to supre produce units. In starcraft you can sneak a few dragoons past the enemy defence and win, but in Command and Conquer, the buildings take forever to kill so you need a huge army.
