It takes a while to turn people on to the show, some people just arent used to that type of humor....but once people are in, they are instant hooked...i wasnt a believer at first...but i mean i literally watch these episodes all the time (especially at work)...

I think 'Sweet Dee is Dating a Retarded Person' (Night-Man, Day-Man songs) is the only episode that comes close to approaching the quality/hilarity of the pilot and the second episode (The Gang Gets Racist, Charlie Wants an Abortion).

I didn't watch all of the third season because it just didn't seem like the show was getting better. Lets hope they start off strong on the 18th.

Devito can be great, but he is effectively a side character.

The problem is when they try and shoehorn Frank into an episode needlessly, just because he is under contract. In my opinion it is similar to Dee, in that a lot of the time she isn't necessary, but you can always use her as a punching bag for the guys.

I thought this week's episode was one of the best of the season so far. Mac and Charlie were top notch. Dee and Dennis were perfect (the Steve Windwood thing was awesome).

I thought Frank's part was pretty good too. Taking all those meds at once, shitting himself, homage to OFOTCCN was great.

This was the first bad episode of this show. In fact, that show Testeees that airs after It’s Always Sunny, had more laughs than this weeks episode of Sunny. That’s pretty bad. There were 2 bright spots and those were the beginning where all the guys were discussing the Washington portrait and how they were going to remove it, and near the very end after Frank shoots the guy’s head off and Charlie says to check for a pulse.

Again, the times they have bad shows are the ones where Fred Savage and the whole gang DONT write/direct. But again, 19 shows is quite a lot. Seinfeld/Frasier/Nigh Court never had that many great eps back-to-back

i didn't think it was that bad and it definately wasn't the first "bad" episode. I thought the hostage episode from last season was pretty lame and a lot of the jokes felt forced.

I thought there were a few funny parts this past week...

The beginning and ending were good (with the present day gang)
Cricket getting his head blown off/constantly being spit at
Dennis's foppish british character and Mac's wooden teeth
charlie and frank plotting to kill that guy
and there were a few other decent moments if I remember correctly. I agree it was far from their best, but I they had a handful of episodes last season that were worse.

I really didn't think it was that bad. Maybe not at the awesome level that the show usually is, but I wouldn't call it a bad episode at all.

I still laughed more than almost any other show. I thought it was better than Dee Has a heart Attack. But I kind of have a 24/7 boner for this show. The only episode I've seen that I didn't like was the aformentioned Hostage episode, and it still had some funny things like Charlie having his own room in the vents and his maps and shit.

What a great episode this week. It had almost everything. Extreme makeovers, jean shorts, kidnapping, stabbing, arson, violence and a great ending.
