I usually give USA a long chance with their new shows (http://www.usanetwork.com/series/royalpains/)..and since i was already going to be watching burn notice anyway, the new show coming on after it seems like its worthy of a watch...

plus its got floppy haired dude from road trip...thats a win in my book..

I watched this after Burn Notice last night. I thought it was pretty decent actually. Hopefully it stays.

I gave it a watch and wasn't surprised to see that it was actually pretty good. USA has a solid record of putting out good new shows. It was kind of like House meets MacGyver

like House meets MacGyver
exactly what my thought was, esp since mention of it came up in the show. but what i really would like to see more of is that indian girl.
and the girl he saved.

The chick that's the head of the hospital isn't bad either. She'd be top notch if she fixed her damn teeth

My dvr cut off right at the very end as Hank and brother met face-to-face with the "other" doctor. What did that doc say to him? Seemed like a warning.

I dont remember the exact line, but it was a warning about him being back or something ominous like that...

definitely enjoyed the premiere though...nice looking women, and pretty good storylines for a premiere..looking forward to see how an peisode looks when theres not as much backstory to lay out.

He said that the doctor had ought to be extra observant because he ain't seen nothing yet, in terms of crazy shit from the spoiled rich people

USA took their two best shows (burn notice and house) and combined them. That said, the pilot was pretty good, hope tonight's episode is good too.

i thought last nights was solid...good to see they are going to keep evan in the comic relief role for the most part...he should flourish with that.

Anyone else becoming a fan of Divya, something about british accents...

Any guesses as to when more things from Hank's past life start to show up in the current?

I agree. This show is pretty solid and I think it'll only get better as time goes. I love Divya she's smokin' hot and the way they make her on the show is even more awesome. She's kind of a smart ass but that's what makes her so awesome.

Using Evan as comic relief is all well and good, but he goes over the top sometimes. I mean what does he do all day except think up schemes? Yeah Divya is a great character though.

Yeah that is all Evan does since all he is an accountant so he doesn't do much work. After getting "flat tire" to sign that exclusive deal, he showed what he can really do.

I'm really digging this show. The drill to the temple tonight gave me a boner.

I find it too implausible to get behind. I mean, two Jewish brothers, one a doctor and one an accountant? In what would would that happen?
