GT4 is only good if you have a wheel. Without a wheel it sucks. GT3>GT4

Not true. Also, GT3 had the most frustrating, impossible, ridiculous race of the entire series, namely the final stage of the Toyota Yaris Cup on SS11.
I'm pretty good at that game. But not only did I never win that shit (in a highly tuned car, to boot), I actually never arrived anything but dead last. Somebody fucked up on that one.

I thought I was the only one who had trouble with the Yaris Cup. The highest I ever finished was 3rd and that was good enough for me.
GT4 always felt like I had ridiculous understeer or crazy snap oversteer due to how precise you had to be with the steering and brakes. I found it nearly impossible to give subtle inputs with the thumb-sticks. With a wheel it was much better but I don't feel like building a contraption to hold my wheel and pedals.
I voted for Forza 2. I don't even have my ps2 anymore and Forza was more fun anyway.

Awesome. I just got a ps3 and that was one of the reasons why. Oh well. At least there's MGS4...

I played it with a good wheel once, and it was like night and day. You can control the oversteer perfectly through the corners, and it works like a charm. But as Ethix pointed out, there simply isn't enough play in a stick to be precise enough.

I'm not getting a €200 wheel for a €20 game. However, when the full GT5 comes out, things may change.

I own both the G25 and the Driving force pro. The actually game play isn't crap aside from not being able to customize anything. Its everything thing else, and I do mean everything.

Well, sure, but then, it's only 1/4 of a game... I never looked at Prologue as an actual game, I always thought of it more as a polished demo.

I knew it was a glorified demo but even for that it was pathetic, not to mention they where asking $30 for it.

I call it pathetic when the finished product was suppose to possibly be a LAUNCH title. Then 2 years later they want to charge me $30 for a demo of what amounts to the in game engine, not the gameplay.

Prologue was not supposed to be a launch title. It was a sampling to keep people from forgetting about GT5.

Really? I felt let down as fuck. To me, it was a huge step back from GT2; far less vehicles, no more little info texts, no used cars, my favourite track (Red Rock Valley) gone...
Also, GT4 has one argument which trumps all.
