When PS3 first came out, I thought it had the potential to take a large market share from Xbox with all the potential that was talked up about it leading to its release. Thus far, it doesn't seem, to me at least, that PS3 has lived up to any of the hype, and all of the big name hits are coming out either exclusively on 360 or are multi-platform.

Yeah, some of the PS3 games looked nice, but I don't think that all combined they will live up to game like MW2 or AC2, both of which are on the 360 as well as PS3. M$ had to be the winner.

Its for 360 too. Devs are getting smart with the non-exclusive shit. Why would Kojima not explore what a diff console can do? The main gripes from Devs is how tough the PS3 can be to develop for. For whatever reason 360 is the go-to dev tool and from a business stand point that's a big notch in MS belt. It both sales consoles, pushes more games out and makes the online expreience more rich. I too thought the 360 would do better after its initial year but it just hasn't. I contribute the decline in some sales to an influx of new, sexy Blu Ray players out. Also a nice lil price drop for them too. Why would I pay 500 for a PS3 when a comparible Blu Ray is now a decent 300 or so?

I don't think any of them really blew it out of the park. It seems that Sony and Microsoft both spent a lot of their resources focusing on bullshit motion sensing, which I don't care about, and Nintendo trotted out new stupid bullshit which I don't care about. However, I think Sony had the worst showing. It's almost like some of their big announcements were not only ordinary, but some in fact unfortunate. I seriously want them to give me a reason to buy their systems, but they continually fail. A new PSP? Sweet! 250$? Come fucking on.

I am completely dumbfounded by the abysmal production quality demonstrated at these shows. This shit is huge, so you'd figure they would have dialed-in the shows by now. I have to give it up to Microsoft, but I like what Sony did too. It was close, IMO. I think Sony's motion control is better than Xbox's (it seemed more responsive and accurate). Natal is very impressive also, so is Milo- assuming it would work just like it was demo'd and not another Molyneux over-hyped game.
