Ok so i educated hoser's retarded ass the other day that your rape power is appx 1% of your rep (tho i mistyped 5% neg power instead of 0.5%), with half that being your neg power. im looking to discard the 'appx' from that equation.
CASE STUDY!:
i currently have 2,147,483,647 reputation points this is apparently the rep cap, as it has ceased to increase. this number is exactly 2^31 - 1.
my rape power is currently 21,474,933. this number is 1.00000449502841% of my rep.
i currently (prior to this post) have 8633 posts.
where do these numbers lead us?
reputation points = 2,147,483,647
21,474,933 * 100 = 2,147,493,300
since these numbers do not correlate by a factor of 1%, the basis for rape calculation must include something other that your current rep. first thought? post count!
by adding my 8633 posts to my reputation, and recalculating 1% of the sum, we get closer.
round((2,147,483,647 + 8,633) * 1/100, 0) = 21,474,923
this number compares much more favorably with my rape power under the assumed 1% correlation.

CONCLUSION!
my case study appears to confirm that both post count and rep factor into your rape power. there are 10 points of rapingness left unaccounted for in this analysis. it is this observer's conjecture that 10 points is the base rape from which everyone starts, though this is troubling, as new members start with 100 rep, and the 1% correlation would suggest the difference to be only 1.
If anyone can identify the source of this discrepancy, i would be very much appreciative.
