NCAAF Week 4

So we've had 1 top 5 team beaten already in week 4 and its not even Saturday yet. I admit I've thought all season long Ole Miss didn't deserve a top 10 ranking let alone a top 5. Who else in the top 10 will lose this weekend? The match ups are below:

(1)Florida @ Kentucky
UTEP @ (2)Texas
Arkansas @ (3)Alabama
Iowa @ (5) Penn State
(6)California @ Oregon
(7)LSU @ Mississippi State
(8)Boise State @ Bowling Green
(9)Miami @ (11) Virginia Tech

I look for Florida, Texas, LSU and Boise State to win easily and by relatively large margins.

Arkansas will Play Alabama close but I feel like in the end the Tide will win by a touchdown or two.

Penn State should beat Iowa, but they should have beaten them last year as well. The Hawkeyes are coming to Happy Valley so they will lose the home field advantage that helped them last year.

I look for California to have a tough road matchup in Eugene. As long as Oregon can play like the team they should be it should be a game.

Though I'm not a fan of the U I feel like they're a stronger team than VT. Tech beat Nebraska but it took last second heroics to do it. If they expect to come away with a home win they'll need to play better this Saturday.

What does anyone else think? Any upsets you're picking to happen or games you're looking forward to?

I don't see any upsets happening other than Ole Miss this week. I think Virginia Tech has a decent shot at beating Miami, but think Miami will pull out the win. Like you said, Alabama/Arkansas may be a little tight at times, but Bama will pull it out.

Other than Miami, I think Penn State is the most likely to lose. Other than that, it should be all wins for the rest of the Top 10.

Agreed. In seasons past, I would say maybe the LSU-Mississippi State game might be a bit closer but not this year.

I think last nights game shows that the SEC East is a little stronger than I originally gave them credit for. Though the west should still have 2 teams in the top 10 after this week.
