The Cleveland Show is the working title of an upcoming American animated series by Seth MacFarlane, a spin-off from Family Guy. The Cleveland Show will be an animated series focusing on the character of Cleveland Brown and his family as Cleveland moves from Rhode Island to Virginia. His newly introduced family includes his new wife, Donna (to be voiced by Sanaa Lathan), her 16-year-old daughter, Roberta (to be voiced by Nia Long) and her 5-year-old son, Rilo. Cleveland Jr. also is in the family, but is much fatter and older than his appearances on Family Guy Cleveland's neighbors also include a family of talking anthropomorphic bears, a redneck couple (with the husband Lester to be voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson) and an English family, with the husband to be voiced by Seth MacFarlane.

Cleveland will officially leave Family Guy. The show is scheduled to be released in 2009.

I love how Cleveland Jr. is just young Peter colored black.

This show will last longer than The Winner, but only by a little bit.

He did. But she still thought he was a pussy and left him.

I thought they said that The Winner (2007) would last because American Dad (2005) lasted.

I guess they were wrong.

Seriously, where the fuck did real Cleveland Junior go?

"My dad always said measure twice, cut once."
"My daddy always say 'Cleveland Jr., stop jumpin' on the bed' heeheehee"

I'm sure we'll get laughs from this show but how does he do it with three shows...

And Quagmire's the one who should be getting a spin off (an actual one, not the 30 second clip from that episode)

Yeah but as soon as you flesh out (giggity) his character and give him more screen time he'll loose appeal very quickly. Plus it's a lot easier to loose Cleveland from Family Guy than it is Quagmire. He's a staple of that show.

Cleveland is hilarious on Family Guy, but why the hell does he need his own show, especially when it means that you have to take him off of Family Guy? Family Guy has gone down hill for the most part the past two seasons (Long John Peter not included), so why take away one of its most consistently funny characters?

'Cleveland' pushed to fall; Huffington joins cast

http://reporter.blogs.com/photos/uncategorized/2008/11/10/cleveland.jpg Good news, bad news and surprising news for "Family Guy" fans.
Fox has ordered a full season of the upcoming "Family Guy" spinoff "The Cleveland Show." But the network has decided to push the comedy's debut date to next fall.
Fox ordered an additional nine episodes of "Cleveland," which was originally planned for midseason.
And here's the surprise: The network also announced that Arianna Huffington will join the cast in a recurring role as a talking bear.
The Huffington Post co-founder will voice the character of Arianna, the matriarch of a bear family. Her character's husband, Tim, is voiced by "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane.
Last week Fox announced a midseason lineup (http://www.thrfeed.com/2008/11/fox-announces-m.html) that did not include "Cleveland." The lineup also did not include previously announced midseason comedy "Sit Down, Shut Up." Sources say "Sit Down" is still currently planned for midseason, perhaps late Spring.
