Anyone here completed it yet?

I'm on the last mission right now, and afraid to complete it because that means I'm done.

The luxury car shop in Algonquin is such a godsend.

I beat it some time ago but after you beat it there isn't a whole lot to do, unfortunately. What luxury car shop are you talking about? The only know I know of is in Alderny- Auto Eroticar.

It directly across the street from the Perseus in the middle of Algonquin. It has the best 2 or 3 cars in the game, and you can just walk in or shoot out the windows and steal anything you want.

Right around the corner from a safehouse too. I love it.

Oh shit- I that would have made things a bit nicer when trying to hunt down a decent ride. Have they announced a date for the PC version yet, or just saying that it was indeed on its way?

GTA IV DLC On Xbox Live This Fall (http://kotaku.com/5039424/gta-iv-dlc-on-xbox-live-this-fall)

Wow, it seems like years since the first rumors of the Xbox getting exclusive Grand Theft Auto IV DLC and months since the game actually appeared (ok, it has been months... but I mean more months)
Finally, Microsoft has announced that the first dollop of episodic GTA action will appear on Xbox Live in the fall.
At the Leipzig Games Convention, a nice chap from Microsoft announced,
"In autumn there will be news from Liberty City; the first episodes of GTA IV will be available for download exclusively on Xbox Live"
(and then there was some guff about "underlining Xbox 360's leadership role in the field of digital entertainment." but, whatever)
So, what do we know? Well, it's nice to get confirmation that it will be several such episodes — whether that means actual episodic gameplay in a Half Life 2 style, who can say?. Mention of Liberty City seems to throw cold water on those 'whole new city' rumors, which is a shame, but still - GTA IV DLC! Yay!

what?

fuck how do I not find out about this stuff anymore

Here ya go

Today's earlier rumor about a viral outbreak (http://www.joystiq.com/2008/10/23/rumor-gta-iv-dlc-brings-quarantine-zombies/) in Grand Theft Auto IV (http://www.joystiq.com/tag/grand-theft-auto-iv) has borne fruit – icky, decaying, zombie fruit. It turns out that the zombie apocalypse has come to Liberty City, but not in the form of DLC. It's a tweak that's been made to the game's multiplayer modes just in time for Halloween.

According to a news update on the Rockstar Social Club (http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/) site, a virus introduced into the game world turns players into zombies (or at least bestows them with the zombie skin) and "can be contracted in any and all multiplayer modes and is spread when an unsuspecting player kills someone who has the infection." The post also mentions that signs of infection include gaining access to the zombie skin in multiplayer or earning the "Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie" Achievement (on 360).

The Social Club site has been updated with a new community feature that lets registered users check to see if they've been "infected," as well as access US and world maps displaying the spread of the "disease." We've contacted Rockstar on the off chance they're willing to spill some details on how long we'll be riding out this outbreak.

http://media.1up.com/media?id=3640328&type=lg (http://www.1up.com/do/media?cId=3150593&sec=IMAGES)
Grand Theft Auto IV (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3150593)'s downtrodden protagonist Niko Bellic may be confirmed as making an appearance in the game's upcoming Lost and Damned (http://www.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3170202) expansion, but that doesn't mean he's getting any new lines of dialog. MTV Multiplayer's Stephen Totilo spoke (http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2009/01/23/no-new-niko-bellic-lines-in-gta-lost-and-damned/) with Rockstar Games' vice president of product development Jeronimo Barrera, who provided a definitive, "Hell no!" when asked if Niko's disaffected voice actor, Michael Hollick, would be returning for the biker-themed side-story. Don't expect Bellic to go all mute on us, though. Multiplayer notes that the section of Lost and Damned that features everyone's favorite immigrant antihero is the very same mission from GTA IV where Liberty City's biker gangs were first introduced -- only this time, viewed from the opposite perspective. Theoretically, that means Rockstar should be free to repurpose the voice samples Hollick originally recorded for that scene.
The reasoning behind Michael Hollick's spirited rejection from Rockstar's latest project remains a mystery, but it's not too difficult to connect the dots. Hollick -- along with Jason Zumwalt, who played Niko's cousin Roman -- historically lamented (http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3167910) the relatively low pay voice actors receive for work on videogames. "It's tough, when you see Grand Theft Auto IV out there as the biggest thing going right now, when they're making hundreds of millions of dollars, and we don't see any of it," Hollick bemoaned shortly after the game's release last year.

Don't bite the hand that feeds. He has a valid point, but I don't know the statistics and percentages to say he was right blasting Rockstar.

Also, I think the add-on is only for Xbox 360, which is frustrating.

Anyone else have this game freeze up on their XBOX? Mine is new this Christmas and is a 60GB version. All my other games seem to work fine. This is the second copy of the game I have tried and I get the same results as the first, most the time I have to do a total shut down as I can't even go back to the dashboard.

It can't be the RRoD already ... can it?

I just wanted to mention that if you pre-order the Lost & the Damned DLC from Amazon you get a free 3 month XBL Gold subscription.

Bought mine already. Might as well get something for free when ya can.

You can do both, if you buy it at a store you are buying a download card with the code to download the game or you can just buy it on live. I haven't heard of any cd version of the game but it doesn't mean that they wont release one.

BEST. GAME CONTENT TITLE. EVER

Liberty City is about to get a little more fabulous -- Rockstar Games has announced The Ballad of Gay Tony, the second episode for GTA4 "Liberty City is the most vibrant game world we've created yet. The episodic structure has allowed us to interweave stories, gameplay and atmosphere in a whole new way," said Rockstar founder Sam Houser.
"The team at Rockstar North have yet again surpassed themselves, and made something that is both epic and very innovative. This episode's focus on high-end night life contrasts with the biker gangs portrayed in The Lost and the Damned, whilst giving us a lot of new gameplay possibilities."
The Ballad of Gay Tony stars Luis Lopez, a "part-time hoodlum" and "full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince," better known as "Gay Tony." As usual, he'll have to juggle competing loyalties while also trying to determine who is "real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price."
The latest GTA4 episode will be available on the Xbox 360 this fall for 1600 Microsoft Points ($19.99). In addition, the episode will be available on retail disc titled Episodes from Liberty City, which will also include the first episode Lost and Damned. Episodes from Liberty City will retail for $39.99, and will not require the original game to play

Then i wonder why they would release it first by download on live and then re-release it with LAD on the Episodes from Liberty City Disk. i mean why would you download LAD and gay tony and then go buy the disk? Unless the disk will be released for ps3 also.
