McKenzie revealed this series, made up of 10 new episodes, would likely be the last. "The second series seems to me like it would be a good end to the show. I feel like another 10... that will be enough."
Clement and McKenzie have been pursuing other avenues, including auditioning for movies. McKenzie told Q he had applied for a part in a film adaptation of the Justice League of America.

I loved the band going in, but couldn't stand the show the first time through.
Then, I watched it again on DVD with some friends, and for some reason it clicked and I've loved it ever since. So I guess the moral is, watch it twice, or something.

Bret in the Justice League movie would be awesome. He could play Superman for all I care, and I'd still go see it. I guess he could pull off the Flash maybe.

I loved the band going in, but couldn't stand the show the first time through.
Then, I watched it again on DVD with some friends, and for some reason it clicked and I've loved it ever since. So I guess the moral is, watch it twice, or something.
Same thing for me, the songs gave me a headache the when I watched the series weekly, then I watched them on dvd and found them all hilarious.

Just finished the new episode of FOTC, actually wasn't very impressed with it sadly. I LOVED the first season. My understanding was that this is the season premiere. Did it air earlier somewhere else?

First episode seemed kind of off, but the second one was hilarious.

Second episode was very funny. The condom thing was hilarious - "I found being a prostitute degrading."

That's probably because they had YEARS to write last season's songs. Only had a few months to write this season's.
It's like saying that Tenacious D's soundtrack to the Pick of Destiny wasn't as funny/good as their debut album.

yeah obviously that is a factor, plus its only 2 episodes in so cant judge whats to come
Edited because after watching EB&D after Conchords the past few weeks, I've grown to love that coke-snorting, waverunner-riding, fastball-throwing Sunovabitch.
