Another reason why I'm not opposed to get some new blood in the league. First year we did it, I think we had 9 of the 10 teams carry over to the next year.

I'm in for another go-round.
I think this would be my 3rd season with LT, so I'd still have the ability to keep him into next year (would be my last year being able to keep him). Am I correct?

We'll set them up ahead of time - Yahoo's got an option for that this year. It avoids the headache of someone not showing up for the draft and getting someones keeper - also known as "The Reverend Effect"

I saw that I had the second selection of the teams whose owners did not come back, and I saw that Jericho had first selection and took "Thad's Team."
In trying to make heads or tails of who Thad's team is, I tried to log onto the Yahoo league website last night, and it said I wasn't a member of the league, hence I could not view the page. I figured enough of the old guard came back to oust us new players. I had registered with Yahoo and accepted the league invite when I got the PM from BSM. The link was bookmarked on my laptop at home.
All the new managers, read: Jericho, Tar Heel, 29a and Zilchoid pick from the teams that were available. You then inherit that team and it's draft pick.
So, with Jericho's pick - he took Construda, so he picks one Keeper for that team (based on last year's roster) and has the 8th pick in the draft.
Zil, you pick from either BVP, Worst Team Ever or Makin It Rain
Tar Heel, you pick from the remaining two
29a, you get the team that's left over.
Please any questions just PM me or drop a message in here -
Let's have all Keeprs and Teams setup by Thursday of this week.

I know the keepers have something to do with that, but to me, it seems like everyone's team would be in the Top Three in my other two leagues, which are both 12 team leagues.

well considering I play in a few Hardcore leagues, this comes as no surprise -- everyone in the league is competent and isn't like some 'competitive' players which are/aren't fanatic and take all members of their favorite team or draft two defenses with their first two picks. I do play in some public leagues and it's just ridiculous why some players consider themselves 'competitive' when they have no fucking idea what they're doing, which is great since I take advantage of their mistakes.
in all Hardcore leagues, you can bet everyone knows potential sleepers as you can see from the lack of talent available right now on the FA wire.
I think everyone's team in the league is pretty legit. I felt immediately after the draft my RBs were sub-par, but it was the best I could do for what was out there. if my RBs play to what I think, then I feel pretty good for the most part since I love my WR trio in Edwards/Housh/Cotchery. ninja arguably has the best RB depth on his team.
