I enjoyed the pilot episode of Sons of Anarchy. I noticed it had Soprano like qualities. It definitely has potential for some interesting plotlines.

Another decent episode this week. I especially liked the fight in the convenience store. I wonder if they will make the evil mother and or Ron Perlman’s character be responsible for the murder of Jax’s father.

Is there anybody watching this show?
I like it so far, though they have a hard time making it badass sometimes. The fighting scenes are weird (ie as in thats what it might be in real life compared to the hollywood crap we re used to see) and the fact that most of the females characters are 100 times more mofo than Perlman and his gang. Yeah, that puts the show a bit off balance. Kim Coates is awesome, though.

Is it just me or does Jax look like a young Heath Ledger sort of?
Besides that, the show is a lot better than I expected. Its interesting seeing Jax find out more about his father, what he wanted SoA to be and how he is trying to take it in that direction. I see a divided club by seasons end.

It started out slow, but it's starting to pick up. I like it.
And now that Dutch Boy is on it, it makes it even better.

I finally caught up on the show over the weekend (OnDemand). I will say that I like it.
I like Jacks, he does have a Ledger look to him. I'd think he was his brother or cousin.
They have picked a pretty good cast. The oddest thing for me so far was seeing the dude who played Skinner on the X-Files in a Wife Beater.
Also has some very painful yet satisfying ass kickings. Guy who dealt Crank to Jacks' pregnant wife gets a pool cue in the nuts. Child rapist gets his nuts cut off. Asshole street racer cuts off the SoA gets his ass kicked then an axe through the skull.
And my favorite: Some douche sits on Jacks bike and doesn't even fucking move when Jacks come back to his bike. He tries to BS and then gets a helmet to the face and kicked a few times and Jacks then takes his girl.

they filmed a scene next door to my parent's place. they paid my parents $500 for one day to park their trucks in front of their house and what not. the neighbor's front door was replaced with a prop door so they could kick it in, they did a whole shoot out in the house and on the front lawn. Mom said it was quite entertaining to watch them in action.

i've been watching the show, i like it but there's really not much to say so far. there hasn't been enough episodes to get used to the characters yet.
I agree it has a lot of potential and so far the writers are utilizing as much as possible I'm already digging the little twists they are throwing into the show so early.

This show is quickly moving up the list of my favorite tv shows. I just hope they can keep up the intensity to last. This last episode was their best one so far. I damn near fell over laughing when the guy they were protecting had chronic masturbater disease. Then you had your "holy shit" moment when they asked their former member how he wanted his tattoo removed........knife or fire.

I like how we know very little about the intentions of the different characters in the show. In many tv shows it is obvious what motivates the characters from the first couple episodes, but I am still trying to figure out what all these people are after, especially the ATF agent.

Was he jerking off or pissing in the baby's nursery? Doing it in tune with the baby's music was a nice creepy touch.

he was pissing in the room. you can here it splatter on the floor plus they talk about cleaning up piss later in the episode.

I've been DVRing the show and finally had a chance to start watching shows. This kicks ass, the shootout in front of the clubhouse with the mayans! I see Dutch is gone now but his expression was classic!

Excellent setup for the season finale. That certainly was a rather large mistake. I'm glad Opie is still alive and would hate to be Clay after Opie pulls his shit together and unleashes hell upon everyone around him.
From the preview of the upcoming season finale, it seems that Jax finds out everything and does some killing of his own. A Jax and Opie killing frenzy. That should make for a great finale.

Jax was the dude in Green Street Hooligans also, thats three pretty different characters the dude has done pretty well. I hope that ATF chick gets just mauled by Opie. Whats that one sleazy SamCro dudes name? Piggy? I don't see that dude living past this season but he's had some pretty good moments. I loved the way they started and ended the episode with that song flashing over all the members of the club, the first five minutes I was like alright, something fucked up is going to happen tonight.

Show is absolutely awesome. Although the ending to the season was so anti-climatic, it shows great promise for the next season, as long as FX picks it up again.

Jax always came off as the damn dead ringer for Kurt Cobain. I would love to see a biopic with Courtney Love playing Courtney Love. She looks just as destroyed now as she did then. More to the point... with the whole Hamlet theme, I just keep wondering whether the younger cop is the Fortinbras. I also like how they bifurcated the Ophelia character between the doctor and the addict. Also, Cherry... rawr.
