Back when I was in middle school, I was lucky enough to get roughed up every so often by some of the older kids. Keep in mind, my Mother was a third grade teacher in the same school system, and a lot of the beatings I got were because she’d been the one to discipline them when they did something unruly (this was when a teacher could still paddle a kid if she saw fit). It was on one of these occasions that I received my first – and only – genuine wedgie. Suffice it to say explaining to dear old Mum why the elastic in my shorts was gone wasn’t all that fun. But, on the plus side, nowadays I make a lot of money doing something I enjoy whereas the guy who did that to me changes oil at a Wal-Mart Tire & Lube Center. Karma, bitches.
