It was an exciting finish to the Fantasy Regular Season and now we have our top 6 teams fighting for the Championship. The contenders are:

1 - Buttocks Abscess
2 - WakeUpWithTheKing
3 - Martin's Batboy
4 - Kelly Leak's Heroes
5 - Los Cerveceros
6 - ChiefJacoby

So, Buttocks and TheKing get First Round Byes - Los Cerveceros plays Kelly Leak's Heroes while Martin's Batboy faces ChiefJacoby.

In the Consolation Bracket, a bunch of teams are playing for games that are pretty much meaningless - so let's move on. (J/K - Best of Luck to Operation3plication, hope you win!)

So on with the End of Regular Season Awards.....


Top Slugger of the Year -

Lance Berkman, WakeUpWithTheKing

What a Stat Line - 27 HR, 94 RBI, .335 Avg, 1.044 OPS, 104 Runs and 15 SB.
Berkman regressed back to form in previous seasons with a terrific 2008 Campaign.


The Where The Hell Did You Come From Award -

Carlos Quentin, XXIII Weeks Later

Carlos came from pretty much nowhere to vault the ChiSox into a Pennant Race - 36 HRs and 100 RBIs are just a few stat highlights.



The "I Paid WAY Too Much for this Muffler" Award -

With regrets to TT, Big Papi just never got his season going - with peppered injuries hindering the power hitter. He seems to have his swager back now, but that didn't help TT get to the Playoffs.


Top Hurler of the Year -

Roy Halladay, Operation3plication

Halladay had a great second half to improve on his already stellar numbers - he was the Top Fantasy Pitcher in the game.


The First Annual Duchscherer Award -

Justin confused batters and Microsoft Word Spell-Checkers all season long - and not quite sure where he came from. Albiet, he had a small setback at the end of the season he played very well for most of the season.

what sucks in my situation is that my fucking offense was great all season, yet I'm going to lose because my offense suddenly became 'Dodger-like,' or in other words, nonexistent for this one week.
