Hochuli Challenge Discussion/Signup

So apparently, someone forgot to tell Mr. Ed Hochuli the location of the new GMF. I understand completely, and frankly, I was getting a little sick of decimating my competition week in and week out anyway. That said, it seems as if a new season of NFL football is about to bestow itself upon us, and that means it's time to hit the weights (juice) again. This year, we're going to do things a little differently.

Wrinkle #1: Random name generators are a thing of the past, and I'll just pick names from people who post in this thread wanting to participate. EG will be the competition Week #1.

Wrinkle #2: Hochuli will rotate each week. The winner of the previous weeks matchup will be Hochuli the following week, and is responsible for setting up that weeks thread, picking an opponent, and picking the matchups.

Also, instead of a subforum, this thread will be stickied. Each week, a new thread will be started, and anyone can feel free to post in that weeks thread once the initial post with the picks has been posted.

So here we go. I'm going to go do some bi's and back, and we'll see you all in this weeks thread.

that being said, I'm going to re-open this with one rule change: no Hochuli rotation since it turned out to be a bad idea. instead, I'll return the challenge to what it was on Old GMF. for those not familiar with the setup from Old GMF, here it is: a random member of the sports forum which signs up will go against Bones and I and select the winners over a variety of games mainly consisting from the NFL and also including college football and the NBA. prizes will be awarded as follows:

If the competitor beats both of us: 100k rep/50k cash
If the competitor beats one but ties the other: 50k rep/25k cash
If the competitor beats one of us: 25k rep/10k cash
If the competitor doesn't beat us: Nothing

the variety of games which make up each weekly challenge will take place over the weekend, so all picks must be submitted by Friday night at the latest. if the competitor DOES NOT SUBMIT their picks by the deadline, another competitor from the sign up list will be selected to participate. I personally will select the games that make up each challenge with exception to certain weeks which Bones would like to make that week's challenge. I'll try to make an effort to announce the weekly participant every Tuesday.

for those who are lost/don't get what's going on, it's simple. later tonight, I will make a thread per matchup (i.e. such as the one I have up for the play-in game) in which I'll post games and/or props. your job is to simply select the winners of those games/props (whether it's a straight up winner pick, spread, etc.). whoever selects the most correct wins that matchup and moves on to face the next opponent given by the bracket.

hopefully this makes sense for those still a bit lost. if you need more clarification, just let me know.
