Popeyes has a cult following, but their chicken is vastly overrated. I'd rather buy Churchs than Popeyes fried chicken.
Love their red beans and rice though.

No point in debating the OP, but I will talk fried chicken.
Royal Farms (on the east coast of the US) actually has the best fried chicken. Plus, they have these awesome western fries that they cut from potatoes in the back and fry up in the same batter as the chicken (I know this because I used to work there at night back in college).
