Who would you rather have as a running back for your team? Adrian or LaDainian?

ADD

Tomlinson

Yes, he's older, but not ancient. He also does more than just run.

I hate him but I'd rather have Peterson.

i agree w/ add. lt's only downfall is that he's a few years older. also, he doesn't lower his head and take hard fucking hits every play. ap will have 90 concussions by the time he's 28.

why? cause he's a former sooner?

lulz

anyways, i'd take peterson in a heartbeat. he has potential to become the running back of all time.

This poll is dumb. There should be a caveat, who would you rather have, AP or LT in their primes. How anyone would rather have LT over AP at this point in time is beyond me.

i'd rather have lt running off of steve hutchinson trap blocking anyday. that guy is 60% of what makes ap great. don't believe me? see shawn alexander.

I'm sure Hutch helps a bit, but you also have to consider the fact that AP has been productive with arguably the shittiest starting QB in the NFL at the helm. There's no way I would rather have LT now (an LT who is 29 years old and maybe has another year or two of superstar productivity left in him) versus AP. AP is lightning.

LT vs AP career for career? Or LT vs AP from here on out?

i'd take current and future peterson over current and future lt. but i'd rather have tomlinson in his prime.

Peterson

Perterson is a stud, and would love to have him on my team. LT is old, and with RB now-a-days only lasting five years his engine is over 100K. Plus as a Bronco fan so I have to hate him.

I am a Charger fan. I am so pissed today. Tomlinson proved to me yesterday that he has no heart on the gridiron.
The question, Peterson or Tomlinson? Are you kidding me,

PETERSON!!!

This guy is for real.

No cookies here. I'm just saying that Peterson is a great back with a great future.

Tomlinson won't play with a boo-boo. That's all.

LT always starts the season off slow. He has for the last 3 seasons in a row. He will kill it in fantasy over the next couple weeks. I'm sure of that. Also, LT has been more injury proof than AP. Many people forget that AP was injured for a couple games last season. He could be one hit away from a short Bo Jackson-like NFL carrer.

He does sound like a faggot. I'll give you that. What kind of chargers fan doesn't know that LT is a slow starter at the beggining of the season?

If that makes me sound like a faggot Chi-Town fan so be it. I am sick and tired of the San Diego Teams not playing to their potential. Do I root for them? You better believe it. We won't even go there about the Padres....
The fact is that Tomlinson gets banged up and he quits. Look at last year in the AFC Championship Game. This year with the toe. Sproles looked more than adequate to fill Tomlinson's shoes. I think Tomlinson needs to reevaluate his priorities. We are here to win a Championship. LT needs to do his best to get out there and play his heart out. It's a matter of wanting to win. If Phillip Rivers can go out and QB a whole game with a severe knee injury, then LT can go out and play his ass off.
I just state the facts.

If it's, "who do I want on my fantasy team this year", I pick AP. Should be a monster, and LT seems like he's getting banged up, bit by bit. If it's, "who is going to finish up with the more impressive career when it's all said and done", I go with LT.

i don't question lt's heart or motivation. i think if he were physically able to go out there and play in that title game he would have.
