While I loved all the Godzilla movies when I was a kid, I think the Johnny Sokko and his Giant Robot was my favorite Japanese monster series of all.
It had monsters, giant robots, aliens, japanese nazi looking mother fuckers and horrible acting, all the hallmarks of an epic show.

I know some of these are kinda short, but you need to understand how much work this is to keep up with all these videos. Combined, it’s over an hour and half of Godzilla reviews! Sure, I wish some of them could ramble on a little longer, talk about every single alternate title for each movie, discuss the plot more… whatever. The Heisei era series and onward don’t have as much to make fun of, as the special effects are better and the formula is pretty much the same. Still, there’s lots of good moments coming up.
You also need to understand how many videos I’m working on at the moment. I have 3 movie reviews on Spike.com, coming up this month, the final touches on the Nostalgia Critic fight for this Friday, the 2 AVGN Halloween specials, and a handful of vintage Cinemassacre videos. This month is packed!

With the upcoming Nerd videos, you can expect the first one to be a compilation of mini speed-reviews. The other one also discusses more than one game, but is a thorough review for the most part. Stay tuned.
