So, I am sure there are a few people on this message board that actually watch this show. And I am sure there are plenty of you who are skeptics and think that Criss is a douche bag which is fine, but however he does the things he does, they are amazing.
Well last night he decided to get into a car and try to jump out of it before it exploded and ran off of a cliff. Apprently he failed at it, and there was absolutely no closure at the end of the episode. We all know he isn't dead, but it makes me wonder, did he get himself all fucked up? Does anyone know what happened?

I would say if it was special effects, why show you failed at it?
And, all his magic is like special effects. I get that, doesn't take away that I couldn't do half those things.

Just forget his "magic" for a second and look at that.
Looks like the by-product of inbreeding inside Hot Topic.

I might could find myself being a little entertained by this guy, but his voice/accent totally ruins it for me.
Kinda like Tucker Max with his lisp.

I go to school with a girl that thinks he is the hottest thing on earth, but i think below all of the pentagrams and black eyeliner, there is a little girl crying to get out.

I used to think some of the things he was doing were pretty cool, and I did enjoy the show. But then I watched a Live performance he put on, where he had to escape a building before it detonated. Classic stuff. He was handcuffed to a railing, and had to lockpick like 4 or 5 doors to get to the roof, (to da choppa quite literally), and escape by jumping on the hanging ladder. It was exciting at first because it seemed like a legitimate task. As in, life or death- he would die if he failed to open all the doors right on time, etc.
So he gets the cuffs off, and immediately has trouble with the first door, so he kicks in a window and I'm still into the whole thing. He lockpicks the next few doors, but when he gets to the door that leads to the roof of this building, he can't pick it. The helicopter has to leave like 30 seconds before the building blows up, so that's when he needed to be on the roof and that time passes.
Then, of course, boom- the building crumples, everyone is like "zomgg" but I'm just sitting there a bit disappointed, ESPECIALLY when I see him arise from the ashes of the building unscathed. It really invalidated all that "training" he was doing beforehand, with practicing how best to hold onto a moving helicopter ladder and such. Obviously he was never in any danger whatsoever, so why should I have been cheering for his safety? Sure, none of his other stunts ever really involved him getting in much, if any, harm. But this was a bit different, maybe because I felt like I wasted a goddamn hour watching this asshole "prep" for a 4 minute stunt, or maybe because I felt more "lied to" than "impressed". I know I can't be the only one to say it would have been MORE impressive if he had actually done it legitimately, because then you held the knowledge that says "wow, this dude could have actually died here." But instead he used whatever tricks to go through it with no risk of harm, which leaves me to feel like anyone can slip away to some hidden area then re-emerge unscathed from the rubble.
All of this is to say that I am sure he's fine, he's unharmed, and the cliffhanger they left you with is most likely just a way to get you to watch the next show where they show him pop out of a birthday cake on the other side of the world. Unless he really is hurt.. If so, then good.

By the way, I know this is not a thread about David Blaine, so forgive the digression...
but did anyone catch that total CRAP of a show last night. WTF was up with the supposed "Dive of Death..." He was attached to a wire?!?! Maybe I'm not getting it but was it a total mess-up or did we see the illusion the way it was intended?

I heard about it, but I missed it watching the other magic guy on tv.
I don't consider David Blaine a magician. I think he is more about endurance than magic or illusions.

Yep. He changed from street magic to the endurance stuff.
But last night he just changed to con artist.
