The NFC West blows chunks and the NFC East is absolutely nuts this year. Who will have a better record, the team that misses the playoffs in the East or the winner of the NFC West?

I just don't see how all 4 teams will wind up 9-7 or better. I can't wrap my brain around it

I was thinking about it, there's a minimum of 12 losses to be distributed among the 4 teams, so in theory the best that could happen if they lost no games outside the division is that they all end up 13-3. Now that's obviously not going to happen, but I could see these teams only losing 2-4 games outside of the division. They are playing the NFC West, and the AFC North this year, both terrible divisions.

The West could be won with 7-9 or a 8-8 record the way things are looking right now, so I really think the 4th place NFCE team could have a better record. That'd be disgusting and funny at the same time.

Considering the NFC East faces the NFC west and the AFC north, you can pretty much pencil in 6-7 wins for each NFC east team. If the NFC East can split division wins (which can be tough with Washington gaining an advantage with road wins) then 9-7 really isn't far out there. It'll be tough but I think it can happen. Maybe at least 8-8.

The Eagles and Redskins are both less than a game behind AZ in record, both having beat them head to head.

Mega lulz

It blows my mind that the Rams' two wins came against Washington and Dallas.

The Cardinals currently have the exact same record as the fourth place teams in the East and South (Redskins and Saints), and lost to both head to head.
