Kornheiser is terrible on MNF, and I think he's getting worse on PTI...but Billy Packer is the only guy on the list that I actually do mute everytime he is on.
Morgan, McCarver, and other for Dan LeBatard. He doesn't get on TV much but JEEEEEEZUS.

Any announcer with the last name Caray fits really well into this category for me.

Chris Berman, hands down. That guy has inserted himself into everything and annoys the hell out of me. While the above current list is actually a really good one, I don't find myself wanting to punch them in the face...

I don't understand the hate for Joe Buck. He's one of the coolest guys I've ever met and he's one of the most knowledgeable announcers in the game.

Brent Musberger, he can make anything sound like something exciting happened... Then you realize on almost every play that there was no fumble/interception/amazing catch, regardless of how loudly he proclaimed it.

Dick Vitale is a great guy and all, but I hate his announcing. He lets his opinion get into nearly everything he says.
Definitely don't like Kornheiser in the booth. Mike Patrick is annoying and it was a joyous day when they dismantled the Sunday Night Crew of him, Maguire and Theismann. I also don't like Mike Breen calling NBA games and local broadcasters for any team. Now if we're also talking about sports guys who talk about the game at half time or post game then I don't like Merril Hodge, Mark Shlereth(sp?), Emmitt Smith, Stuart Scott, Cris Collinsworth, Bill Walton, Charles Barkley, Terry Bradshaw, Mark May, and Lou Holtz.

I hate Bill Walton with a passion. Even though he is a Trail Blazer legend, I can't watch ANY game he is announcing. I like PTI, but Kornheiser is an idiot on MNF. And of course, Berman and his stupid sound effects.

God, how I loathe Tim McCarver. He's a complete moron - I would quite honestly guess he has an IQ of around 75. Yet, because he used to play professionally, he's qualified to be an announcer? Combine his idiocy with his patented "sanctimonious prick who's apparently the only one who understands how you're SUPPOSED to play the game" act, and he's pretty well unbearable. Joe Morgan is almost as bad, but at least I agree with his take on things about 7% of the time. I'd also like to send out a big "FUCK YOU!" to a guy who didn't make the list: Bill Walton. Annoying to the extreme, doesn't mesh well with any announcers you try to team him with, and he's so butt-ugly it's actually a bit frightening. The worst thing is that his voice has only one volume setting, and it matches the amplifiers from "This is Spinal Tap". Somebody needs to shoot him with a tranquilizer dart the next time he's scheduled to go on-air.

Now that the Theismann-Maguire tandem has been broken up and I don't have to hear those fuckers any more, I think Tony Kornheiser is the worst announcer in sports. Buck-McCarver has always been the worst duo in baseball and is now the worst team in pro sports since the absolutely breath-takingly horrible SNF group has been broken up. I rather like Joe Morgan, but about 10% of the time he says something utterly asinine and ignorant. Jon Miller is solid though and balances him out (as does the ever-underrated Mike Tirico with Kornheiser).
