Can anyone recommend an app to clean out / speed up a Mac running Tiger? I thought there was one rattling around the FS thread but its gone now and I cannot remember the name. Thanks for any guidance.

Anyone ever mess around with MobilMe at all? I'm thinking about signing up since I'm at the point where I regularly use like 6-7 different PC's and 3-4 different Macs. I'd really like to get more organized this year, and I need to start keeping a good calendar/set of contacts amongst multiple computers/OS'.

I use it on three Macs and a couple of PC's. I really like it, the only annoying thing is the odd downtime where you cannot get on to anything - but they usually get sorted soon and I think last time it happened they gave us a free month's membership or something.

Oh, and I don't think it works on older versions of IE though.

Anyone successfully install Leopard on a PC? Thinking about giving it a go. A little user guide would be nice.

I installed Tiger. Leopard wasn't compatible with some of the hardware I had.

I was told to get iPC OSx86, since it will do most if not all drivers for me. The only one that won't work would be my sound card, but I can just use the onboard. This is my old PC that I want to try it on:

Mobo: Asus K8V SE Deluxe
Ram: 1 Gig (2x 512) DDR3200
Processor: AMD 64-bit Athlon 3200+
Hard Drives: Seagate 320gig SATA, Maxtor 250gig IDE, Maxtor 80gig IDE, 200 Maxtor External
Video Card: ATI 9800 Pro All-In-Wonder
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy (sounds like I'll have to use the onboard)
Opticals: Lite-On DVD+/-RW, Lite-On DVD Rom
Monitor: Samsung Syncmaster 205bw
Input: Logitech Wave Cordless Desktop Wave

I have a new rig, so it doesn't matter if this one gets f'd in the a, that's why I am willing to try it.

I'm using a Jas distro. The PC I installed it on uses an 865g chipset, which Jas 10.4.8 was the only Distro I found that supported it, there could be better ones though, I didn't look very hard. Everything works, except I can change my resolution past 1024x768.
