We Americans are privy to a wonderous 4-year cycle when it comes to the life expectancy of our government. Every four trips around the sun that our little blue planet makes, some new idiot/asshole/ultra-douchebag has a chance to raise a stink about how awesome he'll be every 7 minutes (give or take) via our televisions if we give him (or her, God forbid) the chance to sit in the White House with their finger on the button that sends a couple hundred ICBM's into action, thereby giving them more than ample opportunity to ruin our lives in every way imaginable. All that said, we're at the apex of one of those cycles as we approach a day that will hopefully live in infamy but for good reasons. We've got a black guy running against an old dude and a gun-toting, state trooper firing, statutorially-impregnated daughter-having MILF. Can we not just keep the MILF and say "Pound sand!" to the rest of them?
