GMF Weekly Wonder

Starting Wednesday, November 19th I'll be hosting a weekly tournament on Full Tilt Poker at 9pm EST.

The buy in will be $5+.50 (50 cents to the house) and should last a few hours, depending the number of people we manage to get every week.

If you don't already have a Full Tilt account go ahead and register, and make sure to use the referral code "gmf6969" when you sign up.

You can find the tournament if you just look for a tournament with the right date and time under private tournaments.

The password for entry is gmf6969.

I'm going to try to get RP to post something about this on the main page, so hopefully we can have around 100 people every week, which would give roughly $225 to the winner.

We'll leave this thread for weekly discussion, questions, and osumike's whining.

For the love of god Mike anybody that's ever played online poker has dealt with minimum deposit amounts. If you want to play real poker $50 is a shit in an empty milk carton.

$50 is the minimum buy in for major credit cards, I'm not sure about the other buy in options.

To expand on this. Thanksgiving morning I get up around 6am and start drinking. Go to the local bar who for $7 has an all you can eat breakfast. They also provide us with transportation to the local high school football game. (Our high school has been playing the same team on Thanksgiving for over 100 years. It's the second longest running rivalry in the country. Again, not really a big deal since it's high school football, but provides us with a reason to drink more.) There is a bar right next door where about 500 others will be drinking. We will all continue to drink until the game is over and get transportation back to the bar, where the drinking continues. Once it hits about 3 o'clock or so, I'll make it to the family's place and gorge myself on turkey and watch football. It truly is one of the biggest drinking weeks/ends.

Ok, but for serial, what is the structure and starting stack going to be for this? Can you alter it, or is it set by FTP?

Well, if we want a "cream rises to the top" style tournament where final tablers wouldn't mind playing for 3 hours or more, then I would suggest this:
